1. At the beginning of our show  the pupils  of the 9^th  form sing a song.

Then the teacher says some words about  the  theme of the show:

Teacher : Hello!  Today you^’ll  learn the interesting  topic.  Every country has its own tradition and customs .

We study English that’s why  we have  to know  the holidays of Great Britain :

          –  New Year

          – St. Valentine  Day

          – Christmas

           – Halloween

          – Mother^s Day

          – Thanksgiving Day

  Our pupils  tell us  some information about these holidays .

Pupil¹: Let^’s  begin our show. It will be infesting .

Teacher: Now we^’ll see the slides of each holiday and the pupils of the 9^th form tell us about them.

Then we will listen to the songs about

Halloween and jingle bells, the pupils have to sing in chorus.

After that we ask the questions about the holidays and the pupils of the 10^th form answer.

Them:  1.What holidays do you like?

 2.What holidays do we have in Kyrgyzstan?

 3.What holidays are favorites in the UK for children?

 4.Why do we celebrate the holidays?

2.  The next task:  Pupils have to guess some names of presents, holidays we will have at the end one word .

    1.  The most popular winter holiday in Great Britain ? ( Christmas )

    2. Santa Claus puts there presents for children . ( Socks)

    3. A very funny autumn holiday. ( Halloween)

    4. People  set off them at night and enjoy noise and light.( Fireworks)

5. Sweet and  tasty, children  like it very much  (Candy)

6. A lot of presents on Valentine^s  day. ( heart)

7. A traditional dish on Thanksgiving day  ( Turkey)

8. People  cover with it  their faces and  fancy parties  ( Masks)

 The word“Holidays”

Our pupil  spoke in English. One pupil  had  do interview with them: They  show us  this interview.

Then the pupils of the 5 th forms  and  the  9^th  forms  show us the  dialogue  and they  say some  the tongue – twisters

•  Fresh fried fish, fish fresh fried , fried fish fresh, fish fried  fresh.
• I scream, you scream for ice cream!
• A  big black  bear sat on a big black rug.
• She sells seashells by the seashore .
• The puppies  of the 8^th forms  say …. Their opinions about this show
•  Why   do you  like this competition?

Pupil¹:    I liked our compotation  because it was useful,  informative productive .

Pupil ²: Ienjoyed  our  competition because we speak English, watched  the  slider

and video  about  the  holidays.

At the end of our show there was a concert,  the pupils of the 5 th form danced and  sang  the song.
